Mohammed Ali Khan, MD better known as Mo, was born in Karachi, Pakistan. During his childhood his family moved to the United States where he was raised in Metairie Louisiana. Mo attended Grace King High School and went on the achieve his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University in New York. With his love for the south Dr Khan returned to Louisiana to attend Medical School at Louisiana State University, which was cut short by his relocation after Hurricane Katrina to Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He continued his internship of Preliminary Medicine at St Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. Baylor College of Medicine was the next stop for this Southern guy in which he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology. June 2014 will mark the completion of his Neuroradiology Fellowship from Baylor College.

Mo, has recently accepted a position with Regional Radiology group and will be residing in Lafayette Louisiana. Being closer to home, Mo will be able to enjoy all that Louisiana has to offer and his hobbies of golf, fishing, live music and of course the New Orleans Saints. He will be excellent addition to the highly skilled staff at Lafayette General Medical Center, St Martin Hospital and Lafayette General Surgical Center.

Dr Khan’s professional interests include Advanced Neuro-imaging, Neuro-oncology, Head/Neck, Spine, General Oncology, Trauma, Body and Neuro-interventional procedures.
