Dr. Reuben Chrestman received bachelors degrees in mathmatics and chemistry from the University of Mississippi. He received his MD degree from the University of Tennessee. Following a rotatating internship at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, he was drafted by the USPHS during the Vietnam era and assigned to the hospital in New Orleans where he served as internal medicine resident, pathology resident and chief of outpatient services. He completed residency training via Charity Hospital of New Orleans and Ochsner Foundation Hospital in 1976. He served as staff radiologist, Chief of Radiology/Nuclear Medicine and Medical Staff President at Baptist Hospital New Orleans, 29 years consecutive service, until Hurricane Katrina. He is double board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He is Medical Director of Imaging Services at Touro.
